There have taken part 17 students of the whole world of 50 invited schools. Laura has been one of five finalists who presented 2 looks of woman and one of man under the subject matter “Workwear design. Restaurando, fast food and coffe”.

The student Dulce Corte winner Moussel Contest

In this first edition the participants had to design articles of bath. Of 18 participants of Spanish schools of design, 13 of them were pupils of FD Moda.

The student Dulce Corte has gained 1500 Euros to be able to extend his studies.

FD Moda takes part in "Entrecosturas Ateliers"

It is a shop window specialized in bridal Ateliers of the whole Spain.

In this edition our pupils Miquel Grau, Xavier Fora and Blanca Issus, all of them of Final Project of Studies, will take part to the event in one of his activities.

The three students will fulfil a moulage in situ from a sketch of the great teacher Lorenzo Caprile, who will be present as special guest.

Result of IX "FD News Saldrás en Portada" Contest

FD Moda created the FDNews "Saldrás en Portada" contest in September, 2003, coinciding with the celebration of 75 anniversary of the school, with the final aim to promove the creativity of the young designers in the world.

The contest is based on the presentation of 3 front pages of the magazine (free subject) by a brief explanation of the concept.

The winner obtains 600 Euros, a scholarship of studies in a course of FD Moda’s specialization and the impression of the front page of the magazine.

Students of FD Moda, winners in the Hempel Award of China

This year the catwalk of the contest was inaugurated by Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Beijing, from 25 on March 31.

In this edition more than thousand persons have taken part, with a total of 32 finalists of 16 different nationalities. All of them he has presented collections from 3 to 5 looks.

The members of the jury were from Beijing (2 persons), Hong Kong, Tokyo, Korea, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Moscow and Barcelona. The representant of Barcelona is Gabriel Torres, the director of the final projects of FD Moda, which goes taking part 16 years as juror of the contest. Two students were representing us. The result has been:

- Xavier Fora (Student of Final Project). Winner of the Country Award (300 Euros)

- Clara Gurguí (Student of Final Project) Winner of the Excelent Award (100 Euros)
