Postgraduate in Shoe Design

If we turn our attention to fashion catwalks, we will realize how important firms present more and more creatively designed shoes using more innovative techniques in their design, as in the type of heels or in the material used. I

In the Postgraduate course in Shoe Design, the necessary knowledge of shoes is studied so that designers and creative teams in different areas (fashion, product, graphic…) can develop professional careers in shoemaking.

Aims

  • To know how to express creativity and trends in collections.
  • To understand the collection development process.
  • To use suitable materials in each model.
  • To use technology and suitable machinery in each case.
  • To become familiar with the manufacturing and marketing concepts.
  • To provide the necessary knowledge so that designers and creative teams of different areas can develop professional careers in shoemaking.

Syllabus

The postgraduate has 18 credits: 150 theoretical/training hours and 30 hours used for carrying out a research project.
