Master in Fashion Accessories
Whereas before it was inconceivable to ruin a model’s silhouette with a bag on a catwalk, today fashion shows are organized for selling, mainly accessories ( bags, shoes, jewels, glasses…) Accessories have become the economic crux in fashion. They are not mere accessories but elements that define the look and personality beyond a model’s clothes.
Due to the importance that fashionable accessories have gained in our dress today, the main aim of this Master- addressed to graduates in different design fields or professionals in this area- is to educate experts to be capable of successfully solving all the designing and manufacturing process of any accessories line, with special importance paid to shoes and bags.
Aims
To provide students with enough training so that they are able to successfully handle the designing and manufacturing process of any fashion accessories line.
Syllabus
This MASTER is made up of the Postgraduate course in Design, Bag making and Leather goods and the Postgraduate course in Shoe Design. The achievement of both Postgraduate course will give the student the MASTER’s DEGREE IN FASHION ACCESSORIES.
Students interested in carrying out work experience must notify us when registering. This work experience is optional and does not count as credits.
Postgraduate in DESIGN, BAG MAKING AND LEATHER GOODS (20 credits)
- Module I: Bags and leather goods design (8 credits)
- Module II: MAKING BAGS AND LEATHER GOODS (9 credits)
- Module III: Research project (3 credits)
Postgraduate in SHOE DESIGN (18 credits)
- Module I: SHOE DESIGN (9 credits)
- Module II: SHOE PATTERN DESIGNING (6 credits)
- Module III: Research project (3 credits)
