DESIGN LAB. Planning, creating and presenting a collection
On this course the student will work on planning and creating a collection from a company perspective, putting into practice the work method which encompasses interpretation and application of trends, the choice of fabric, budget, the collection design, the pattern making and manufacturing process, the technical data…..and finally, the presentation of the collection.
This course is for final year students who already hold a diploma in design (fashion, graphics, industrial, production …) Graduates in Architecture, Engineering, or Fine Art. Professionals within the sector, without specific qualifications, can accredit personal experience.
Objectives

- Live and feel the collection from its beginnings till the presentation.
- Apply all types of knowledge in order to gain quality.

This will be team work, simulating a company design team, therefore there will be a team of people who participate in the collection.
The collection will be based on the choice of the season´s trends, up to the oral and graphic presentation.
